I LOVE love, so naturally Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite holidays. I have fun on Valentines Day even when I’m not dating anyone and a big part of that is dressing up.

To make Vday fun for all of my PSP’s, I’d like to kickstart something new: The Plus Size Princess Style Challenge (#PSPstyle). I’ve been working with the HTC for the past few weeks, testing out their latest phone, the HTC One X+ and I’m having lots of fun with it. I’ve been an iPhone girl for a long time, but I must say there are some pretty cool features on this device. My personal favorite is the 8MP camera with built in filters and a self timer also, the Beats Audio has been cool to listen to Pandora with while I’ve been doing the Plus Size Princess Fitness Challenge.

With the HTC One X+, you’ll have access to all the great apps you love including Instagram. There are a lot of rumors about having to pay for apps, but I got all the stuff I love from my iphone on this HTC phone for free.

I really need to write about the experience of modeling in the BlogHer fashion show, but I’m not quite ready. I think I’m in shock. I’m often so focused on getting cute dresses that I forget to invest in clothes I can just “veg” in. Giant Pants is a new brand of pajamas that are designed to give women of all sizes comfy PJs!

Giant Pants was a life saver to me during BlogHer. After running around all day, meeting people, taking classes and dragging my stuff around. I would come home, light candles, take a long shower and then slip into my comfy cozy pants. The fabric is light enough that I wasn’t too hot and soft enough that I fell right asleep.

Back in the day, I can remember buying the biggest size flannel pants I could find, but they were never baggy like I wanted them to be. Tight pajama pants are just silly, but when you’re already plus size, finding a loose fit is hard too. Giant Pants are cut so that they fit perfectly in the waist and crotch, while being perfectly loose in the leg.

Over the summer I wrote about Plus Size Waist Cinchers. I wore one for the first time when I was maid of honor in my BFF’s wedding and it changed my life! As I’ve told you guys before, I carry a lot of my weight in my tummy area, so it was awesome to have an hourglass shape instead of an oval shape when wearing a strapless dress.

Last year I attended an event with Kitty Bradshaw, a New York Blogger who, like myself, is originally from California. She’s a great resource for events, culture and new products and when I saw that her giftbag included Squeem products, I was stoked!

They had SQUEEM waist cinchers in all colors and sizes (including plus sizes, woot woot!) so I decided to try the Miracle Vest, which is similar to the Perfect Waist Cincher, but it has shoulder straps. I didn’t think adding straps to the cincher would make much difference, but I was mistaken!

The cincher with straps pulled my waist in and pushed my boobs up! Two things I was very happy about…

Each style of cincher will shape your midsection well, its just a matter of what type of outfit/dress you’re wearing.
